"The Reason God Gave Us Seasons"

There's this perfect spot in our kitchen where I have a full view of the backyard of our home.
Often, I sit at my kitchen table where I can observe the nature that takes place right around us
that we are sometimes too busy to even notice. We have several bird feeders that my husband
handmade and placed in different areas to the yard that serves the squirrels quite well. Lately, I've been able to get great pictures of a hawk that comes almost daily and uses them for a resting post. I think he's posing for his photo shoot. The best part of it all is I get to watch the sunset in it's full splendor, with skies ranging in colors of gold then turning all the hues of pink. Just beautiful!!! I have much gratitude for these moments, and in them I thanks God for being in total control of all things and especially nature.
Fall is a lovely time of the year, it's the comfort season. We get to take a break for the intense heat and intimidating impact of thunderstorms of summer, and enjoy the lull of leaves falling as they change color and make that rustling, crunching noise under your feet when you walk. Pleasant tempertures, just warm enough during the days and just cool enough during the nights. Fall gives us that much needed reprive to prepare for those cold, bitter winter days.
There is no season without beauty in nature to proclaim God's presence. I feel he gave us seasons and nature so no matter what is going on in this world, be it war, shootings, losses,
struggles, disappointments, all manufactured by man, we only need to look at nature and the
seasons to know God is ever present!! There are events with brutality and killings of children,
deaths of men and women, disrespectful exchanges of rhetoric and hateful, violent, unjust acts committed among people that overwhelms and causes dispair. Our nation in a war within itself and a division within a specie, a greed for power control and ownership of a world that cannot be claimed by any man. God made it for us (the one human specie) and all animals, to have a beautiful place to reside while here on this earth. So instead of being showered with the reports from the news persons, often I sit at my kitchen table where I can observe the gift of beauty that God has created in the seasons to let me know He's still in charge and he's always here for us all. We just have to know this and look to his beauty in nature and the seasons

always, but especially in troubled times.
