Those Moments

On many days I go on Facebook to connect with the outside world. I find it facinating at times,

I like the posts with babies/children and puppies/dogs. I seek out some humor and love the

nature pictures that many people posts. I tiptoe through many of the posts seeking the ones

that serves me best. Daily, always, I seek inspiration and information that has meaning.

On the news last week, I watched this young athelete do an interview and he could not

contain his enthusiam and excitement. Sad to say, I can't recall his name, but I'm sure by now many people have seen it. As a matter of fact, it was also on facebook and I shared it because

this guy was so inspired and inspiring. He was in the midst of "those moments." Those moments

when everything comes together and you triumph!! I watch show after show on television

where people experience-those moments! It's exhilarating to watch, you can feel their emotions,

their pride, the joy of working hard and succeeding, winning, or being rewarded. Love "Undercover

Boss," "The Voice," and Oprah's "Favorite things show" when she was on where people in the audience went home with all her favorite things. Those people were beyond estatic. The young athlete in his

interview said success is believing, an attitude that you can, when you get knocked down get back up,

all of which expands far beyond a football field. I loved his energy and conviction! I heard him!!!

So, I started to think, it's great to feel good for others, many people have not mastered that feat,

however; I, yes me, someone I had almost forgotten about while raising a family, then taking care of

my Mom, I want and need some of "those moments." Wanting and needing something doesn't make

it happen, I've learned over the years. So, first I must define my objective, then I must develop a detailed plan, then commit to consistently pursuing my objective relentlessly. Surely, surely, if I follow

this plan, pray, work and believe..."those moments" are surely in my future with my name on them,
