I believe a writer has to have a certain amount of respect for solitude and silence. It is at this intersection that the freedom of being with your thoughts and emotions comes into view. I began writing "God Knows My Name" in 2011. It was a title and few paragraphs until I became driven to write it due to the chapters and experiences in my life. This was a period of very little freedom but a lot of life was occuring. As I've mentioned before, this was a must write book for me. It is a dedication to a woman's, (Mandy Patterson-my Mom), wisdom, commitment and love. It also reaffirmed to me personally, who I need to impress with what I do with my life. It is my desire to share this book as an account of some dark spaces in some of these chapters to shed light and understanding on your journey. My basic philosophy is to be better today than I was yesterday. I encourage and invite you to read this book so you can be better, feel better and find a greater understanding about the stages of life. May you be inspired and blessed to know the many ways to give love and to be loved. Best wishes throughout your journey!

On a rainy day when you're lounging around on the couch or on a Sunday evening when you're winding down from the weekend and before you gear up for the week-read it.
