The Human Connection Speak Out Rise Up

Sometimes it would be great if we could just shut out the world, turn our heads and pretend

that all is well. Don't get me wrong life is a beautiful thing, yet it can not be denied that awful,

violent things happens in this world everyday. Children being gunned down, lives being lost

shootings by men who don't think of a better way of resolving issues that are far less valuable

than the lives they will loose and the pain they leave loved ones to endure after they are gone.

Violence is a tragic thing, and guns, all guns are instruments of violence. When I hear of tragedies, it doesn't matter the color of the skin, connected as humans, it hurts. I don't believe

there's enough desensitization in existence to prevent me from feeling. Unless we all begin to feel, act and speak out, when these incidents occur to people who we don't know, might not look like us or live near us, this violence will continue. Andra Day sings, "All we need is hope and for

that we have each other." I hope for a better world, a more peaceful place to coexist. Together

our prayers and our words and work can make this world better. It's time out for hate and violence-too much to loose. I encourage you on your journey to do all you can to make this a kinder world!! I'll do my best!! Be inspired!!
